Conformal Cyclic Cosmology
English
Italiano
Tracing the Echoes of the Universe.
This is the Visual Identity of Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (C.C.C.), a personal project that builds a bridge between cosmology, physics, philosophical thought, and visual research — understood as interconnected fields of conceptual, visual, and perceptual exploration. C.C.C. takes these areas as raw material: it moves through them, reworks them, and produces outputs through a constantly evolving language made of forms, text, visual abstractions, graphic structures, animations, and visual systems. It is not concerned with illustrating or explaining scientific concepts directly, but with treating them as generative frameworks — abstract, malleable ideas that become material for visual and conceptual construction, where thinking happens through form rather than explanation. In this space, language is never fixed, but shifts through variation, recurrence, and subtle changes in meaning.
The name is inspired by Roger Penrose’s Conformal Cyclic Cosmology, a theory describing the universe as unfolding through a potentially infinite sequence of “aeons” — complete cosmic eras in which the universe evolves toward an ultimate state before giving rise to a new phase. In this model, each aeon emerges from the far future of the previous one, forming a continuous cycle where endings are not final closures, but transitions into new cosmic configurations. Within C.C.C., this idea becomes a conceptual reference point: a framework of recurrence, variation, and continuity. Rather than defining a fixed identity, C.C.C. operates as a system of relations between ideas, forms, and interpretations, where meaning is never stable or final, but emerges through proximity, repetition, and resonance between elements.
